This tool returns your latitude, longitude, an estimated accuracy radius in meters, and — when your device provides it — altitude. All of it comes directly from your browser's Geolocation API; nothing is sent anywhere to produce these numbers.
Decimal degrees vs. DMS
Coordinates here are shown in decimal degrees (the format most mapping tools and APIs expect). If you need Degrees, Minutes, Seconds format instead, use the Coordinates Converter.
Accuracy isn't fixed
We don't quote a blanket "accurate to X meters" figure, because it genuinely depends on your device and environment. Trust the ± value shown with your specific result instead.

What does the ± value next to my coordinates mean?
That is the estimated accuracy radius, in meters, reported by your browser. It reflects how confident your device is in the fix — smaller is more precise — and varies by device, environment, and available location signals.
Why didn't I get an altitude value?
Altitude is only included when your device and browser can supply it, which typically requires GPS hardware. If it is unavailable, the tool simply omits it rather than showing an inaccurate guess.
